Boston Township is about 23 miles south of Cleveland in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The Township is served by Interstate 271 and State Route 303, which runs east-west through the middle of the Township. Over 80% of the Township comprises the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and the rest of the Township is mostly historical homes and small businesses. Boston Township has two Joint Economic Development Districts, one with the City of Cuyahoga Falls and another with the Village of Peninsula.
The Township is home to many recreational destinations and points of interest, including the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and Boston Mills and Brandywine ski resorts.
